Poached eggs

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs 
  • 1 dessertspoon of vinegar 
  • Pinch of salt if desired 
  • Pepper 
  • 250 mls water 

Method: 

  • STEP 1 

Put the water into a sauce pan, add the salt, pepper and vinegar. Bring to the boil.

  • STEP 2 

Break the eggs into the boiling salted water. Simmer gently until the eggs are set (this takes about 2 – 3 minutes).

  • STEP 3 

Serve with toast and beans.
