Vitamin D

This vitamin D leaflet can be found on the following website: www.healthpromotion.ie. It is a very clear one page handout on the importance of vitamin D and how to supplement for all age groups.

Ideally you should talk to your GP and get your serum (blood) vitamin D levels checked to see if they are within the normal range for your age. If your levels are low you need the GP to prescribe a mega does to correct and then once corrected to follow up with a maintenance does as described in this leaflet.
